I aim to tell the unique story of your wedding day in the most authentic and beautiful way possible. I lean towards candid, documentary photography, blended with a little artistic portraiture. I will spend the majority of the day capturing events as they unfold naturally, allowing you to relax and be fully present in the moment. I will occasionally provide gentle prompts and guidance, to catch the best light or background, but I make sure not to interrupt any candid moments in doing so. For couples portraits, when you may need a little instruction, my style is about encouraging genuine interactions, rather than staging formal posed photos. I will do everything I can to ensure you can be unapologetically yourselves with me. My friendly and relaxed approach aims to make you, your family and friends feel completely at ease.
I pay attention to the small details, but never at the expense of real moments. There are so many stories unfolding from different perspectives around you, and I want to capture as many as I can for you. I aim to produce photography packed with emotion. The in-between moments, little looks, gentle touches, tears and belly laughs - those are the photographs you will truly treasure for years to come.
Complete my contact form with your wedding date and details. I take on a limited number of weddings, so I can give my couples the best possible experience and turn around your photos in good time. I will confirm my availability, send you my pricing brochure and arrange a no obligations introductory Zoom call.
In the run up to your big day, I'll be on hand to help with anything you need. I'll send you my wedding planning guide - full of helpful tips and suggestions on how to get the best out of your photographs. If you've booked an engagement shoot, we'll plan this and have some fun in front of the camera ahead of your wedding day.
Over Zoom, we will chat through your vision for your wedding and what's important to you. I will talk you through my approach and answer any initial questions. If you decide you would like to proceed after the call, let me know and I'll send across your contract and deposit request of 20% to confirm the booking.
As your wedding date draws closer, I will send your 'final details questionnaire'. This includes timings, locations, group shots and all other relevant details. Once completed, we will schedule a final call approximately 2-3 weeks before your wedding day to chat everything through one last time.
After your wedding, I will send approx 40 'sneak peeks' within 3 days. Your full gallery will be shared within 10 weeks, but I'll always aim to get it to you as soon as possible. After you receive your images, it's often not farewell. I love to keep in touch to see how married life is treating you, plus be there for any future photo needs you may have!
Once your big day arrives, let the celebrations commence! Relax and enjoy your day to the full, I will be there to capture beautiful memories for you. I capture the majority of the day naturally, as it unfolds, but will also provide guidance for portraits and group photos to ensure you have a variety of gorgeous photos in your final album.

Wedding photography for micro weddings and elopement celebrations.
Having Lucy as our wedding photographer was one of the highlights of our day! Lucy brought so much energy to our day and made us feel so relaxed, as if one of our closest friends was photographing us. We loved that Lucy had a more natural approach to capturing the day and it really shows in our photos. Lucy has captured so many wonderful photos of us and our friends and family celebrating with us.
The communication we received from first enquiry to the full gallery being sent to us was next to none and we never doubted the amazing photos that Lucy would capture. Lucy sent out incredible sneak peak photos within two days of the wedding and kept us up to date with time frames for the full gallery. Lucy was quick to respond to any question that I had and listed out any photos that I wanted to have captured.
Thank you so much Lucy you are amazing! I hope we will keep in touch and if the opportunity arises where I need a photographer again, you would be my only option! xx

"We cannot recommend Lucy enough! We booked her for our wedding after finding her on Instagram and could not be happier with our decision!! We are in love with our photos - they look a thousand times better than we ever could’ve imagined! Not only that, Lucy is the loveliest person & was super helpful with all the prep leading up to the day, always only ever at the end of an email if we had any questions! She felt more like a friend come the end & slotted in so well on the day - our guests also commented on how lovely & hardworking she was!!"

Lucy is absolutely amazing!!!
We can't thank Lucy enough for our beautiful photos, she has captured all the love and happiness of our wedding day so perfectly! Not only are the pictures just gorgeous, Lucy herself is pure magic and an absolute dream to work with. It felt like having a true friend with us there on the day. Lucy's smile and relaxed approach made us feel so at ease that she captured so many special moments when I didn't even realise she was there!
We are so delighted with all of our photos and couldn't be happier with our choice of photographer. Lucy - you have been fantastic to work with and we both really appreciate all the time and effort you have put into making our photos look so beautiful!

"Our experience from booking all the way through to the final gallery has been outstanding.
Our wedding photographer was a massively important decision to me, and we genuinely couldn't be happier. Lucy was such a joy to have around on the day and everyone felt so at ease, which is something we never thought we'd say being photographed! She just blended in amongst the guests and took the most beautiful photos of everyone and everything. Lucy's style, eye for detail, rapport with the guests and editing are all *chefs kiss*.
The online gallery is so special, we gasped louder with each photo that appeared, teared up more and more, said "ohhh my god" and "wow" countless times. I cannot believe they are our wedding photos, or us as the subjects. We are so so grateful to have a wedding gallery we can treasure and show off for the rest of time. If you're thinking of booking Lucy, don't think - just do."

Absolutely not! My aim is for you to have an amazing wedding day with the photography having minimal impact on you enjoying yourselves. I spend the majority of the day capturing events as they unfold, as naturally as possible. Of course, we will factor in time for any formal group photos, alongside 2 short couples photo sessions. I recommend keeping the number of formal group shots to less than 8 if you can. Couples portrait sessions last 10-15 minutes and are a great chance for you both to enjoy a little time together, away from your guests.
Timings will be discussed ahead of booking, but my full day package is based on preparations coverage starting 2 hours before your ceremony start time, through to 1 hour after your first dance. This is up to a maximum of 10 hours. The dancefloor is one of my favourite parts of the day and I love to capture a good selection of dancing photos to finish off your gallery. If you would like me to stay even later into the evening, you can add additional hours onto your package too.
I’m based in South Buckinghamshire, providing easy access to Bucks, Berks, Oxfordshire, London and Surrey. My family are Cotswolds based, making weddings in the South-West of England very easy too. Travel throughout England is included in the full day price. However, if your wedding is over 100 miles from SL7, I may request local accommodation be covered.
Yes! I travel across the UK and will happily board a plane worldwide. In 2024 I have destination weddings in Norway, Bordeaux, Tuscany and Sicily. My full day package remains the same regardless of location and I simply provide a quote alongside for travel expenses.
Of course! I am fully insured with both Public Liability and Professional Indemnity insurance. I also have insurance for my cameras and kit. If you or your venue requires paperwork, I am happy to provide my policy documents.
It hasn't happened yet (I'm pretty hardy), but if there were any problems I have lots of trusted colleagues in the wedding industry who I can call on. I would never leave you without an amazing photographer on your wedding day.
I have 2 professional camera bodies, lots of lenses, spare batteries and memory cards. I always shoot weddings with two cameras. These both have dual memory card slots, which get written at the same time, so all your photos are saved twice.
There is no upper limit on the number of photos I will deliver, but I do believe in quality over quantity. I do not ‘hold back’ any good photos, just because you've got lots already. For a full day, I guarantee a minimum of 500 (but likely more).
I send a 'sneak peeks' gallery of at least 40 edited photographs within 3 days of your wedding date, to give you some photos to share with friends and family. The full gallery will then be delivered within 10 weeks, but I always aim to get it to you as soon as possible.
I recommend a second photographer if you have over 100 wedding guests. It is also helpful if there is travel time between locations and/or if you would like both partner's preparations covered in full. We can discuss this in more detail in our introductory Zoom call.
