When it comes to choosing your photographer, finding someone you feel comfortable with is just as important as finding a photography style that you like. It's my job and privilege to help you not just feel comfortable, but actually enjoy having your photo taken. I treat all clients like old friends and love taking the time to get to know you. Not only do I genuinely enjoy this process, but it also allows me to create photographs that feel authentic to who you are. With that in mind, it's only fair that I share a little about me too...

a little about me

"Lucy is the warmest of characters who was a delight to have at our wedding. It felt like we had a great friend taking our photos and she immediately put us both at ease. It was the one part our wedding day I didn’t have to think twice about. We couldn’t be more grateful for the stunning photos which we will enjoy for years to come. Lucy you are THE BEST!"

Jonty & Minnie

For those of you planning your wedding, I can relate. I know how much thought goes into every detail, how fast the day goes and all the emotions that go with it. I'm also no stranger to a little stress and problem solving! After postponing our wedding in 2020, I finally married my best friend in July 2021. With a last minute extension to the covid restrictions, we changed plans, moved everything outside and partied on the patio all night long. It truly was the BEST day and I so want that for all my couples too.

I CAN RELATE

I grew up in the Cotswolds and have settled in Marlow, South Buckinghamshire with my husband Andrew, toddler Freddie and cocker spaniel, Otis. Adventures with my family (both big and small) are my favourite thing to do. I love to travel at every opportunity and am always planning the next adventure with my camera. I love road trips, hiking, skiing, scuba diving, safari and everything in between. Closer to home, I find respite in coffee shops, dog walking in the countryside and the occasional SUP board down the Thames.

let's go on an adventure

For those of you booking a newborn or family shoot, I know how precious these photos are as well. It's true what they say - they really do grow too fast. I feel truly honoured when asked to capture such important times in peoples lives.

In my photography, I love to travel to beautiful locations, seeking out striking landscapes and stunning light, but I am most inspired by people and connections. I aim to always deliver beautiful, meaningful photography - pictures that evoke emotion and preserve memories. I feel incredibly privileged to call this my job!
