When it comes to choosing your photographer, finding someone you feel comfortable with is just as important as finding a photography style that you like. It's my job and privilege to help you not just feel comfortable, but actually enjoy having your photo taken. I treat all clients like old friends and love taking the time to get to know you. Not only do I genuinely enjoy this process, but it also allows me to create photographs that feel truly authentic and meaningful to you. With that in mind, it's only fair that I share a little about me too...

a little about me

"Lucy is the warmest of characters who was a delight to have at our wedding. It felt like we had a great friend taking our photos and she immediately put us both at ease. It was the one part our wedding day I didn’t have to think twice about. We couldn’t be more grateful for the stunning photos which we will enjoy for years to come. Lucy you are THE BEST!"

Jonty & Minnie

For those of you planning your wedding, I can relate. I know how much thought goes into every detail, how fast the day goes and all the emotions that can go with it.  After a year of covid delays, we finally had the wedding we’d been dreaming of in July 2021. Having all our friends and family together after such a long wait made it even more special. It was truly the most joy-filled, incredible day, and I want nothing less for every couple I work with too.

I CAN RELATE

I grew up in the Cotswolds and have settled in Marlow, South Buckinghamshire with my husband Andrew, toddler Freddie and cocker spaniel, Otis. Adventures with my family (both big and small) are my favourite thing to do. I love to travel, plan road trips, seek out unique stays, hike, ski, scuba dive and I'm always planning the next trip with my camera. Closer to home, I find respite in coffee shops, dog walking in the countryside, SUP boarding down the Thames and, of course, chasing after Freddie!

let's go on an adventure

For those of you booking a newborn or family shoot, I know how precious these photos are as well. It's true what they say - they really do grow too fast. I feel truly honoured when asked to capture such important times in peoples lives.

In my photography, I love to capture beautiful locations, striking landscapes and stunning light, but I am most inspired by people and connections. I aim to deliver beautiful, meaningful photography - pictures that evoke emotion and preserve memories. I never lose sight of how important these images can be and I feel incredibly privileged to call this my job.
