Nestled in the heart of the town, Guildhall Windsor exudes British charm, history, and grandeur. Built in 1689, the building showcases the elegant designs of Sir Christopher Wren, the celebrated architect behind St. Paul’s Cathedral in London. It is renowned not only for its architectural beauty but also for its royal connections. Notably, it was the chosen venue for the wedding of Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla. With its stunning architecture, central location, and rich heritage, it’s no wonder this venue is a favourite for those looking to tie the knot in style.

After the ceremony, many couples choose to celebrate with a confetti toss on the Guildhall’s iconic steps, which open out onto Windsor’s quaint cobbled streets.
For larger weddings, guests often move on to their reception venue, while for more intimate affairs, friends and family can enjoy a relaxed celebration locally. A popular choice for photos nearby is The Long Walk. This picturesque, tree-lined avenue leading to Windsor Castle is just a short walk from the Guildhall and offers the perfect setting for a summer celebratory toast with loved ones, family portraits and romantic couples photos.
