Relaxed & authentic family photography local to Marlow,
Henley, Maidenhead, High Wycombe, Beaconsfield and surrounding areas.
My family sessions are relaxed and informal, with plenty of time to have fun, move around and simply enjoy being together. There’s no expectation for little ones to sit still or perform for the camera – we’ll follow their lead and let things unfold naturally. Nothing is overly posed; the aim is to capture natural expressions, lots of smiles, genuine moments and beautiful photographs that really feel like you.
Most sessions take place outdoors, where we can make the most of the natural light and give children plenty of space to explore and play. I also offer sessions at home (especially for very young children), either for part of your shoot or for the whole session.
I’m based in central Marlow and photograph families throughout Buckinghamshire, Berkshire and Oxfordshire.
I love outdoor family sessions, where children can move freely, explore and have fun. While I will guide the session to ensure we gain a variety of photos and are using the best light, I like to take a step back and capture genuine interactions. When needed, I will encourage family games or gently guide you with little prompts, always aiming to keep our time together relaxed and enjoyable for you all. For outdoor shoots, you may want to consider seasonal locations eg flower fields in Spring and leafy parks in Autumn.

If you have a bright home with good natural light, it might be a great option to begin your session with some family portraits indoors. This can be especially ideal for younger babies who aren’t yet walking or during colder months, when spending a full hour outdoors might be challenging for little ones. Starting with some beautiful portraits at home allows everyone to settle in comfortably before heading outside, giving you the best of both worlds!

milestones & birthdays
Family sessions are also a lovely way to capture a special milestone as your little one grows - from sitting and crawling to first birthdays and beyond. We can make the milestone the focus of your session, or simply include it as part of the shoot, while also capturing plenty of natural photographs of you together as a family.

She has managed to really capture his blooming personality, and taken some amazing shots of us as a little family. As soon as Lucy arrived I felt very relaxed and at ease.
