A stunning editorial shoot at Hedsor House in Buckinghamshire.

As a wedding photographer based in Marlow, Buckinghamshire, I am spoilt for choice for stunning venues on my doorstep. Undoubtedly, Hedsor House is one of the most stunning – not just near me but across the whole of the UK (acclaimed recently by both Vogue and Tatler)! I had the opportunity to shoot the most stunning editorial shoot at Hedsor House in March, showcasing both the beautiful venue and some incredible supplier talent. I am so excited to share it with you!

Hedsor House - Luxury Wedding Venue

Hedsor House is a Grade II* listed mansion, that boasts a rich history dating back to 1166! The beautiful Georgian house that stands now was built in 1868 and was frequently visited by Queen Victoria. It is situated in picturesque Buckinghamshire countryside, close to the river Thames and overlooking the beautiful Thames Valley.

From a photographer’s perspective, Hedsor House offers so many incredible photo opportunities. It boasts a perfect combination of breathtaking architectural design with stylish contemporary features. Inside I love the statement entrance hallway, opulent Grand Hall, intimate drawing rooms, placial bedrooms and of course the beautiful sweeping staircase. The interior is enhanced by the large windows, multiple crystal chandeliers and beautiful wallpaper throughout many of the rooms, providing a huge variety of backdrops for photographs. Outside boasts 100 acres of historic parkland and Grade II listed grounds. From the perfectly manicured gardens, the views of the Thames Valley and the stunning architecture of the house itself, you really are spoilt for choice!

A fashion editorial and dream team of suppliers

The editorial shoot was created and brought together by an incredibly talented team of suppliers (full list below). Absolute styling perfection by Lucy Anne Events and florals by the incredible Dreamboats and Carousels. The table florals and decor were some of the most spectacular I’ve seen. Luxury bridal dresses by Mara Marie Bridal and Lyn Ashworth, alongside a statement blue gown by Millia London. Not forgetting, the most perfect setting to bring everything together.
